EnergyHub to talk BYOT success at Smart Energy Summit
As the leader in providing Bring Your Own Thermostat® (BYOT) and cloud-based demand response service to utilities, the EnergyHub team loves sharing our experiences at the industry’s biggest conferences and events.
And when we talk about the industry’s best events, the Smart Energy Summit in Austin, Texas is one of the first that comes to mind. This year’s summit runs from Feb. 20-22, and we’re proud to be a part of the festivities once again.
EnergyHub VP & GM of Energy Markets, Erika Diamond, will discuss how we are managing several successful BYOT programs across the country with an experienced panel including EnergyHub partners and customers.
The session, “Bring-Your-Own-Device Models: Drivers and Barriers,” will be a discussion of what’s been working (and not working) the last few years in BYOT for both utilities and device manufacturers.
The panel discussion starts at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 22. Take a look at the panelists below.
Panelist | Title | Company |
Deborah Kimberly | VP, Customer Energy Solutions | Austin Energy |
Kevin Schwain | Director of Program Strategy & Development | Xcel Energy |
Stuart Lombard | Founder & CEO | ecobee |
Rob Munin | President & CEO | Lux Products |
Erika Diamond | VP & GM, Energy Markets | EnergyHub |
The panel will be moderated by Brad Russell, research analyst at Parks Associates.
This is an especially exciting panel for us, as we manage BYOT programs for both Austin Energy and Xcel Energy, and we’re proud partners of ecobee and Lux.
In managing BYOT demand response programs for Austin Energy and Xcel Energy — and many others — EnergyHub provides a flexible and sophisticated software platform for enrolling, managing, and tracking connected devices as well as marketing and program management services to ensure successful client deployments.
If you’re attending Smart Energy Summit, make sure you say “hi” to Erika or reach out to us on Twitter.
One of the best ways to maximize enrollment in your BYOT program is to allow customers to sign up without using an account number. We’ve found it can increase enrollment by a whopping 84 percent.
